📋 Description

• Perform field installations and start-ups • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspect or conduct performance tests • Verify product compliance with manufacturing prints and application engineering/purchase specifications and requirements • Document installed product performance • Train and instruct product users in proper operation and maintenance • Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate refrigeration, electronics, and electro-mechanical operating systems using prints and schematics • Establish, maintain, and develop positive customer relationships • Coordinate service calls at customer facilities • Generate service work and explain the benefits of refrigeration and controller retrofits • Establish preventive maintenance contracts and perform general service work • Maintain knowledge of warranty, maintenance, and service policies and procedures • Maintain vehicle logs and maintenance schedules • Keep detailed field service and travel expense reports • Travel locally and regionally to customer facilities

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of refrigeration experience • Solid understanding of single-stage refrigeration • Minimum 2 years of work experience or training in commercial/industrial refrigeration or HVAC/R • Experience with electronics and controls programming • Work experience in a related service capacity • Valid driver’s license • Ability to travel weekly, stay in hotels four nights a week, and complete 2–4 weeks of training in Holland, Michigan • Ability to stand, walk, climb or balance, and perform kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and manual handling • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally • Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • Knowledge or experience in cascade refrigeration, EPA Universal Certificate, and environmental simulation systems industry experience are preferred
