📋 Description

• Perform field installations and start-ups • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspect/conduct performance tests • Verify product compliance with manufacturing prints and application engineering/purchase specifications and requirements • Document installed product performance • Train and instruct product users on proper operation and maintenance • Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate refrigeration, electronic, and electro-mechanical components using prints and schematics • Establish, maintain, and develop positive customer relationships • Coordinate service calls at customer facilities • Generate work and explain the benefits of refrigeration and controller retrofits • Establish preventive maintenance contracts and perform general service work • Maintain knowledge of warranty, maintenance, and service policies and procedures • Maintain vehicle logs and maintenance schedules • Keep detailed field service and travel expense reports • Travel weekly to local and regional customer facilities

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of refrigeration experience • Solid understanding of single-stage refrigeration • Minimum 2 years of work experience or training in commercial/industrial refrigeration or HVAC/R • Experience with electronics and controls programming • Work experience in a related service capacity • Valid driver’s license • Ability to travel weekly, including staying in hotels four nights a week • EPA Universal Certificate, cascade refrigeration systems experience or training, and environmental simulation systems industry experience preferred • Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds
