📋 Description

• Perform field installations and start-ups • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspect/conduct performance tests • Verify product compliance with manufacturing prints and application engineering/purchase specifications • Document installed product performance • Train and instruct product users in proper operation and maintenance • Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate refrigeration, electronics, and electro-mechanical components using prints and schematics • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships • Coordinate service calls at customer facilities • Generate service work and explain refrigeration and controller retrofit benefits • Establish preventive maintenance contracts and perform general service work • Maintain knowledge of warranty, maintenance, and service policies and procedures • Maintain vehicle logs and maintenance schedules • Prepare detailed field service and travel expense reports • Travel locally and regionally to customer facilities

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of refrigeration experience • Solid understanding of single-stage refrigeration • Minimum 2 years of work experience or training in commercial/industrial refrigeration or HVAC/R • Experience with electronics and controls programming • Work experience in a related service capacity • Valid driver’s license • Willingness to complete a 2–4 week training program at the facility in Holland, Michigan • Experience or training in cascade refrigeration systems preferred • EPA Universal Certificate preferred • Work experience in the environmental simulation systems industry preferred • Ability to travel weekly and stay in hotels 4 nights a week • Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds
