📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day technology operations and serve as a key technical resource for IT infrastructure, network, systems administration, vendor management, and end-user support • Monitor daily IT operations to ensure system reliability and performance • Resolve escalated technical issues by coordinating with vendors and internal teams • Provide high-level oversight for hardware, software, and systems applications, including SharePoint, Paylocity HRIS, and Smartsheet • Support user account administration, permissions, system access, and onboarding/offboarding processes • Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, configurations, and operational workflows • Assist in developing and enforcing IT policies, standards, and best practices • Support organizational technology initiatives and operational improvement projects • Coordinate implementation activities for system upgrades, integrations, and new technology solutions • Partner with department leaders to identify operational needs and recommend technology solutions • Evaluate emerging technologies and process improvements • Participate in strategic planning related to IT operations and infrastructure • Serve as primary contact for external IT vendors, consultants, and service providers • Coordinate vendor deliverables, service requests, maintenance schedules, and issue resolution • Monitor vendor performance and assist with contract and service-level agreement compliance • Collaborate with the supervisor regarding technology purchases and renewals • Support cybersecurity initiatives, system monitoring, and operational risk mitigation • Assist with compliance related to data privacy, system access, and organizational policies • Coordinate security updates, patches, and operational safeguards • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field preferred • Minimum of 7 years of progressive IT operations or systems support experience • Experience coordinating with external technology vendors • Strong knowledge of cloud-based IT infrastructure, collaborative platforms, systems administration, and operational support practices • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and operational risk management • Familiarity with NIST 800-171/Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment • Ability to travel domestically for all-staff meetings • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft certifications, and/or cloud platform certifications, including Microsoft Information Security Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, or Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer Associate • Subject to a criminal background investigation • Three professional references required • Verification of education/degrees
