📋 Description

• Lead and manage configuration management processes for hardware, software, and documentation configuration items • Establish and maintain change management processes for updates, bug fixes, and new capability deployments • Manage and operate Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) • Oversee baseline change reviews and approvals, including Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities • Track and document configurations for enterprise IT assets, including software and network components • Coordinate builds, releases, and deployments across development, integration, and operational environments • Ensure version control practices align configurations with documented baselines • Lead software releases and collaborate with IT teams during upgrades, deployments, and maintenance • Generate configuration audits, status accounting, and discrepancy reports • Develop, update, and enforce configuration management policies, frameworks, and templates aligned with NIST 800-47 • Provide coaching and training on change and configuration management principles and tools • Monitor CM process implementation and effectiveness, identifying and implementing improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science • 14 or more years of relevant experience • In-depth knowledge of configuration management tools, such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence • Experience managing Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) • Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git or equivalent • Knowledge of change management processes, including baseline updates, software releases, and Configuration Control Boards (CCB) • Familiarity with NIST 800-47 and Risk Management Framework (RMF) • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and enforcing configuration control policies, SOPs, and work instructions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing documentation, reports, and training materials • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
