📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy a bi-directional integration between ServiceNow and Jira • Develop, maintain, and expand custom ServiceNow applications using the Now Platform • Develop front-end and back-end components connected to a blended technology stack • Interconnect ServiceNow functions with legacy systems • Rapidly deliver lightweight back-end services and front-end public-facing web stacks • Diagnose and troubleshoot production application issues • Promote innovation in technologies, processes, and tools • Work with Product Owners and Scrum Teams on requirements decomposition, backlog refinement, and breaking down user stories and tasks • Support the Product Owner and interact with stakeholders • Perform unit and integration testing • Interface with internal and Government management personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline; 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education • 15+ years of work experience • 5+ years of development experience • 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow and the Now Platform, including ITSM, App Engine and/or Integration Hub • Ability to design, discuss, and document system strategies for platforms, applications, and networks • Experience writing unit and end-to-end automated tests • Proficiency with Jira and GitHub • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification and hands-on experience building custom applications on the Now Platform • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, webhook frameworks, authentication models, and cross-platform data mapping • Familiarity with Jira project structure, issue data models, workflows, and service account configurations • Ability to design scalable integration architectures meeting enterprise security, governance, and SDLC standards • Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance • Preferred: ServiceNow development and Now Platform experience including ITSM, App Engine, Integration Hub, Mobile Studio, and Automated Test Framework • Preferred: Java development experience
