📋 Description

• Develop software running on millions of devices deployed by industrial and enterprise customers • Evaluate and select hardware components, including SoCs, flash/RAM, and sensors • Bring up new hardware platforms, boards, prototypes, and sensors • Configure I/O and establish SPI, I2C, UART, and BLE communication • Debug system initialization and validate hardware designs • Build peripheral drivers, secure bootloaders, device firmware updates, power management, and connectivity layers • Design protocols and hardware management for battery-powered sensors and gateways • Build systems to gather data, detect meaningful events, and structure recorded data for efficient analysis across thousands of devices • Partner with product, full-stack, mobile, and quality engineers to deliver useful firmware data • Contribute designs, reviews, documentation, and engineering practices that raise team standards • Collaborate across teams to deliver products for fleet management and industrial monitoring

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years building firmware for resource-constrained systems on products shipped to real customers • Fluency in C • Ability to read linker maps, stack traces, and corrupted heaps • Solid bare-metal and RTOS experience, including Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or equivalent • Experience making scheduling, memory, and timing decisions • Experience bringing up new boards and unproven hardware • Fluency in SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and ADC • Ability to debug hardware-software interfaces • Experience using an oscilloscope, network analyzer, or RF spectrum analyzer • Experience spanning hardware, firmware, cloud, and quality from concept to shipped product • Ability to trace driver-level decisions to customer experience • Ability to write actionable design documents, review comments, and post-mortems • Experience iterating quickly with automated testing and maintainable code • Experience using AI in daily workflow • English-language proficiency implied by the English-language posting; no explicit language requirement stated • Must secure and maintain the legal right to work at the company and in the specified work location, if applicable
