📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic partner to leadership of Samsara’s Global Support organization • Drive operational excellence and data-informed decision-making at scale • Own the annual operating plan for the Support organization end to end • Build and maintain capacity, headcount, and cost models using volume forecasts, productivity, AI deflection, and staffing assumptions • Model and pressure-test headcount, vendor/BPO mix, cost-to-serve, deflection, automation, service-level, and coverage tradeoffs • Own monthly and quarterly Customer Support business review cadence • Define and validate metrics, develop executive narratives, and follow through on decisions and actions • Build reporting frameworks and self-service metric definitions for productivity, cost to serve, CSAT, time to resolution, and deflection • Partner with Support leaders on productivity and incentive programs, capacity allocation, and operational improvement initiatives • Use AI tools such as Claude and self-service data capabilities for modeling, analysis, narrative generation, and reporting • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles while scaling globally and across new offices

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategic finance/FP&A, management consulting, strategy, or a related field • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited university • Experience owning an annual operating plan, capacity plan, or equivalent multi-quarter planning process for a large organization or function • Experience building and owning complex operating or financial models covering headcount, capacity, and cost • Experience owning a recurring executive business review cadence end to end, including metric definitions, narrative, and follow-through • Ability to build executive-level presentations and strategic communications • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and synthesize large and imperfect datasets • Familiarity with Tableau, Looker, SQL, or Databricks for self-serve analytics • Experience using AI tools for analysis, modeling, content generation, and workflow automation • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority • High degree of independence and intellectual curiosity • Candidates must reside in the US, except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area • Legal right to work at Samsara and in the specified work location
