📋 Description

• Serve as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care • Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision • Provide bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital-sign recording, psychosocial support, and personal care • Assist with transferring, repositioning, walking, range-of-motion, and passive exercises • Complete food preparation and dining tasks • Assist residents with meals and snacks and provide water and supplements • Aid providers and nursing staff with procedures as needed • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and diet • Communicate changing resident conditions and care concerns to the charge nurse • Collect non-invasive body-fluid specimens and vital signs • Provide housekeeping and laundry services • Support wellness and recreational programs and encourage resident participation • Travel to multiple locations within a 75-mile radius of permanent address • Participate in departmental or organizational committees and task forces as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months experience in Long Term Care required • Minimum of 18 years of age • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position through enrollment in a training program or certification by endorsement • CNA training and certification required and provided by facility • Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing • Minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually • Maintains all department-specific required certifications • Certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry when applicable • QMAP certification with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment required depending on facility • May require a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle report, and medical qualification to perform essential driving functions, depending on facility and responsibilities • High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required

• $7/hour premium on all hours worked • $1.25/hour weekend shift differential • $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) • CNA training and certification provided by facility • Continuing education credits and annual competency testing • Reasonable accommodation support for applicants with disabilities
