📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and present opportunities supporting the category management lifecycle for products and/or services • Lead contract and procurement negotiations involving financial value and business terms and conditions • Advise internal customers and the Category Management team across multiple clinical and business lines • Cultivate supplier relationships that maximize contract value and performance • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize results • Develop and execute contract opportunities with Supply Chain functions and resources • Negotiate products and/or services across multiple business lines according to clinical and operational requirements • Initiate, develop, and manage Requests For Proposals (RFPs) • Analyze and interpret data for opportunities or impacts • Connect strategy to outcomes by understanding organizational requirements and supplier motivations • Participate in development and continuous improvement of Category Management processes • Adhere to federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to contracting and procurement • Plan and implement recurring work using established procedures and confer with Category Management leadership as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required • In lieu of education, five years of related work experience in supply chain, contract preparation and/or administration may be considered • Minimum three years of related work experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required • Supply Chain or Contracting certification desired • Knowledge of routine contract-term and condition negotiations • Project management skills • Knowledge of commonly used Microsoft Office functions • Ability to adapt to a diverse portfolio of work • Attention to detail • Must adhere to federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to contracting and procurement of equipment, supplies, and services
