📋 Description

• Lead and grow the SDK engineering team • Own strategy, roadmap, and execution with product and design partners • Guide architecture decisions across a large-scale TypeScript codebase • Design and ship minimal APIs for internal and external developers • Review pull requests, unblock technical problems, guide API design, pair, and contribute code • Run the open-source App SDK project, including triage, contribution paths, changelogs, and community trust • Champion developer experience through type generation, hot reload, and one-command deployment • Measure SDK adoption, apps deployed, and time-to-first-app • Collaborate with engineering leadership, product, design, DevRel, and partnerships • Shape the culture of the Engineering organization

🎯 Requirements

• Based in San Francisco/Bay Area or remote in the United States • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience • 5+ years as a software engineer • Deep experience with TypeScript and React, including state management, hooks, module systems and bundling, and core browser concepts • Experience building libraries, SDKs, or developer tools used by other engineers • Experience working at a product or SaaS company as an engineering manager or senior engineer • Experience working closely with product managers and designers • Comfortable working with remote and distributed teams • Clear and concise technical communication, in writing and verbally • Experience with Go, Vite, or Zustand is a plus • Meaningful open-source project maintenance experience is a plus • API or SDK design experience at a developer platform company is a plus • Experience with automated browser testing and Node.js is a plus • Startup experience is a plus
