📋 Description

• Review credit applications, pull credit reports, request trade references, financial statements, and other information to make credit decisions within assigned guidelines • Review existing customer credit files, evaluate financial statements, account history, competitor analysis, personal guaranties, and letters of credit • Communicate with customers to learn about their business, request information, negotiate, and provide options • Communicate credit review results and guidance to internal teams • Review custom orders, determine deposits and terms, and maintain custom order records • Monitor and report on specific customers and customer segments • Maintain customer account information in SanMar databases • Perform other assigned duties • Comply with all policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of related credit or accounts receivable experience or equivalent education • Experience in risk management and decision making • High level of competency with computer and software applications • Excellent communication skills • Excellent time management and organization skills • Strong negotiating skills • Ability to communicate effectively with diplomacy and tact • Ability and willingness to learn • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work as part of a team and be self-directed with minimal supervision • Ability to be approachable and flexible, change directions quickly and positively, and recognize opportunities for mutually beneficial solutions • Ability to work standard hours of 8:00–5:00 PST
