📋 Description

• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring customer accounts comply with states' resale certificate regulations • Assist customers in renewing resale certificates on file with SanMar • Assist customers with completing state forms, answer questions, and provide resource tools • Ensure compliance with each state's requirements and process resale renewals according to state schedules • Maintain working knowledge of various forms and state requirements • Monitor incoming faxes and emails directed to the Resale Team and route them as appropriate • Complete customer information updates within 24 hours, including address, name, and ownership changes • Resolve resale issues and renewals by working with customers, Inside Sales, and Credit departments • Request resale forms when required • Meet monthly state resale renewal project deadlines • Maintain and accurately update SanMar's customer software and customer information systems • Comply with all policies and standards • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Some customer service experience preferred • Experience with Microsoft Office • Track record demonstrating outstanding customer service skills • Proven track record demonstrating excellent attendance and punctuality • Ability to work as part of a team and be self-directed with minimal supervision • Ability to learn new processes and procedures, retain information, utilize available resources to find answers, and obtain information • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Flexible with change • Strong attention to detail • Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work independently and confidently • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to work standard hours of 8:00–5:00 PST • Periodic travel may be required • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings • Frequent keyboarding and use of standard office equipment • Ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds
