📋 Description

• Assist with all aspects of the portfolio management process • Implement investment strategies across various portfolios accurately and on time • Collaborate with investment teams and internal cross-functional teams • Communicate with borrowers and serve as a primary contact for loan closing and post-closing loan management • Review and process funding disbursement requests and verify documentation and loan-condition compliance • Collect quarterly financial statements and reporting documentation • Assist in assessing borrowers’ financial condition, creditworthiness, and project compliance • Maintain knowledge of loan policies and procedures • Work with Finance to ensure correct accounting for loans • Track, analyze, communicate, and recommend actions regarding loan delinquencies • Rebalance portfolios based on cash flows, guideline changes, or market movements • Manage cash levels and equitize where necessary • Monitor portfolio dispersion and coordinate actions with portfolio teams • Ensure accounts are managed consistently with client guidelines • Support funding new accounts, transfers-in-kind, client transitions, and account setup • Track trading trends of Santander products • Build working relationships with Santander portfolio teams • Mitigate companywide operational risk in the daily processing environment • Maintain the loan portfolio management system and related databases

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education — Required • 3+ years of experience with portfolio management and asset management — Required • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to maintain accurate electronic files and database systems • Organized and self-sufficient • Strong quantitative reasoning and writing skills • Knowledge of underwriting and experience with underwriting procedures • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, members, and the general public • Excellent member service skills • Detail-oriented decision-making and above-average oral, written, and communication skills • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to work with profitability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions • Capacity to complete projects on time
