📋 Description

• Lead the commercial accounting function, gross-to-net, revenue recognition, and reporting • Manage annual budgeting, long-range planning, and quarterly forecasting processes • Own monthly reporting to the parent company and ad hoc communications • Establish commercial finance capabilities, including order-to-cash systems, gross-to-net accrual modeling, trade/inventory accounting, and commercial risk management controls • Establish, refine, and maintain internal controls and governance frameworks • Streamline month-end and quarter-end close processes for timely, accurate reporting • Build a high-performing internal accounting team and transition functions in-house • Interpret and apply U.S. GAAP and other authoritative accounting standards • Partner with commercial leadership to design and scale financial infrastructure, accounting processes, and revenue recognition policies for the U.S. commercial launch of Atzumi™ • Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for strategic decision-making • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, dashboards, and executive presentations • Analyze financial results, KPIs, and business trends, providing actionable recommendations • Improve financial planning processes, reporting tools, and forecasting methodologies • Ensure alignment of accounting across financial planning, reporting, and operational results • Support corporate development activities, including financial modeling for business development opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required • 10+ years of progressive finance experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial modeling • Experience supporting executive leadership with financial insights and business decision support • Experience with ERP systems, financial planning tools, and advanced Excel modeling • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic planning skills • Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights • Strong executive communication and presentation skills • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities • Results-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving biotechnology environment • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced financial credential preferred • Prior experience in a commercial-stage or late-stage biotechnology company preferred
