📋 Description

• Reach out to patients regarding new or existing referrals, confirming demographic information, providing referral updates, and confirming delivery of goods or services • Communicate with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers about new and in-process referrals • Procure vendor partners for each referral based on requested goods or services • Make or take calls concerning existing referrals, new referrals, or other team members' referrals • Provide quotes to clients for approval and follow up to obtain written approval for requested referrals • Ensure referrals are medically necessary and approved by the claims adjuster • Confirm required billing information is present and move referrals to billing each day • Process referrals according to state regulations and workers compensation guidelines • Perform other assigned duties • Support the organization's quality programs • Travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Two (2) years of industry experience in healthcare network and patient care scheduling or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Strong customer service skills • Strong critical thinking skills • Self-starter • Excellent oral and written communication skills • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretive skills • Strong organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines • Travel as required
