📋 Description

• Manage staffing activities within a designated region • Partner with operational management to formulate and execute timely, cost-effective staffing initiatives • Identify and cultivate hiring sources through networking, referrals, Internet Mining technology, competitor databases, candidate pipelines, and staffing technology • Manage the regional recruiting budget and third-party recruiter supplier relationships • Screen, interview, and test job applicants • Maintain applicant databases using electronic recruiting software • Provide regional staffing metrics and track colleague retention • Consult with regional management on turnover issues • Train and mentor hiring managers and Colleague Resource Generalists on electronic recruiting software • Promote and assist with training on Behavioral Interviewing Techniques and candidate assessment tools • Support and train Colleague Resources Generalists in staffing techniques • Perform other assigned duties and travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• Four (4) years of staffing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Three (3) years as a direct recruiter in a high volume, difficult-to-source industry • Insurance industry recruiting experience preferred • Experience with recruiting software preferred • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred • Knowledge of employment laws and practices • Working knowledge of e-recruiting concepts and systems • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Strong organizational skills • Excellent negotiation skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Travel as required
