📋 Description

• Follow all process instructions and health, environmental, and safety protocols • Operate and monitor chemical processes remotely via a Distributed Control System (DCS) • Support plant startup, steady-state operations, and shutdown recovery • Monitor key process parameters and make real-time adjustments to maintain optimal performance • Respond to process upsets and emergencies following established procedures • Identify and troubleshoot process deviations, equipment issues, and safety concerns • Communicate with onsite operators to coordinate operations and resolve issues • Maintain accurate work records and support regulatory and contractual reporting requirements • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams • Use CMMS and other systems to manage and track operational data • Prioritize tasks and manage competing demands in a dynamic environment • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Associate degree in process technology, biological systems, or a related field preferred • 2+ years of experience in process operations, preferably in fertilizer production, chemical manufacturing, wastewater treatment, or a similar industrial environment • Ability to read and interpret PFDs and P&IDs • Proficiency with DCS platforms and remote monitoring software • Familiarity with CMMS systems; Maintenance Connection preferred • Experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana and InfluxDB preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams • Familiarity with CAD viewing tools • Strong troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitude • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism • Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory requirements • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED • Must have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in the English language • Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident • Unable to sponsor employment visas • Subject to a pre-employment drug test and background check after a conditional offer
