📋 Description

• Design and continuously improve the Legal Department’s service delivery model • Identify friction where legal work interacts with the business and design improved processes • Build and run legal intake and triage workflows, beginning with marketing and advertising review • Establish scalable processes for contracts and knowledge management • Design the legal department’s operating model from intake and triage through execution, retention, and reporting • Build workflows for high-volume request types • Implement and optimize contract management, knowledge management, and e-billing processes • Develop and document the contract approval matrix, contracts and regulatory playbooks, and self-service resources • Lead vendor selection, implementation, and adoption of legal technology, including intake/workflow and Contract Lifecycle Management systems • Ensure legal technology tools are used to their full capability • Partner with Finance, IT, and other departments to align legal technology and data with broader company systems and objectives • Support legal leadership in developing the department’s strategic plan and goals • Monitor performance against strategic goals • Build metrics and dashboards for staffing, spend, and prioritization decisions • Deliver data-driven insights that drive change • Lead cross-functional projects with Finance, IT, Marketing, and other partners • Report to the Associate General Counsel - Commercial and work across the legal organization and business partners

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with significant legal operations exposure in legal ops, process improvement, program management, or business operations supporting a legal, regulatory, compliance, or policy function • Experience in a legal, regulatory, compliance, or policy environment strongly preferred • Hands-on experience implementing legal or business technology platforms (e.g., intake/workflow, CLM, DMS, e-billing) • Comfort learning and administering new tools is a threshold requirement • Working financial knowledge of budgeting, accruals, and cost control • Confidence working directly with executives, outside counsel, and technology vendors • Process-oriented approach, with ability to design, document, and implement improved workflows • Ability to gather data, build a case, and persuade stakeholders to adopt new processes • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills • Ability to explain detailed or complex processes clearly to lawyers, executives, and business partners • Ability to collaborate across levels, personalities, departments, and external partners • Analytical mindset and ability to connect data across processes • Strong sense of values and ethics
