📋 Description

• Embed with a functional department for a defined engagement and conduct discovery of workflows and pain points • Scope, design, and build full-stack custom applications using modern frameworks, AI coding assistants, and internal platform APIs • Move applications rapidly from prototype to production • Own architecture, development, testing, deployment, training, and handoff end to end • Work hands-on with AI coding tools and iterate with stakeholders in near real time • Make and clearly communicate trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality • Partner with IT, Security, and Data teams to meet data security, compliance, and supportability standards • Codify recurring patterns, components, and playbooks into reusable engineering building blocks • Feed field learnings back to platform, product, and data teams • Measure and report success through production adoption and measurable business impact

🎯 Requirements

• 5 or more years of professional software engineering experience • Ability to independently design, build, and ship full-stack applications, including frontend and backend • Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Node.js/JavaScript, or comparable) • Sufficient frontend ability to build usable internal tools • Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.) • Working understanding of APIs, webhooks, data structures, and integration patterns • Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders, scoping ambiguous requests, managing expectations, and shipping production solutions • Ability to operate with significant autonomy and shifting priorities • Strong communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs • Prior forward-deployed, solutions engineering, professional services, or startup generalist experience is preferred • Exposure to enterprise security, compliance, or data governance requirements is preferred
