📋 Description

• Lead architecture and delivery of ambitious customer-facing digital solutions • Design and develop frontend experiences, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines • Create tooling, deployment pathways, and reusable platform building blocks • Shape CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and observability capabilities • Convert successful patterns into shared services, frameworks, libraries, and architectural standards • Remove friction from the development lifecycle through automation and standardization • Act as technical lead on important initiatives and architect through code • Partner with engineers, product leads, and designers to raise technical standards • Mentor and influence engineers while fostering pragmatic, high-quality delivery • Establish engineering architecture, tooling, culture, and development practices for SGS digital products

🎯 Requirements

• Expert-level React/TypeScript on the frontend • Deep experience building distributed backends in Go, Python, or TypeScript • Hands-on, architectural-level experience with GCP or AWS • Experience with Terraform • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes • Experience building modern CI/CD pipelines from scratch, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI • Ability to design scalable, resilient, and observable systems • Experience working closely with Product and Design teams • Practical understanding of monitoring, tracing, testing, and operational excellence • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger • 10+ years of experience with strong backgrounds in product engineering and platform/SRE work • Builder-first mindset and ability to make key technical decisions through hands-on delivery
