📋 Description

• Serve as a customer-facing data security expert • Take a consultative approach to security projects and understand how security technology enables business • Develop and deliver new security services offerings for customer requests and opportunities • Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers, procurement contacts, and other client stakeholders • Understand SHI’s services offerings across solution practice areas through training and self-study • Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies through individual, team, and company training • Stay current on technology, trends, and market behavior by studying industry trends and landscape • Conduct self-study and independent lab work to increase job-related knowledge and skills • Develop collateral for cybersecurity sales engagements • Develop use cases in the SHI lab to support sales engagements • Scope and assist in creating statements of work for professional services aligned with recommended products and solutions • Travel to customer and partner sites, conferences, and SHI offices as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the TOLA region of the United States (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, or Arkansas) as required by business needs and SHI management • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required • 5+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role • 3+ years of experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting • Experience and understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS • Strong technical cybersecurity knowledge, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Data Detection & Response (DDR), and file encryption • Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs, articulating value propositions, and providing technical expertise • Expertise in mainstream technologies including Proofpoint, zScaler, Mimecast, Cyera, Varonis, Concentric, and Sentra • Advanced certification in mainstream technologies preferred, such as CISSP, relevant GIAC certification, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or relevant professional cybersecurity OEM certifications • Travel to client locations required up to 20% • Extended hours required for some special projects
