📋 Description

• Embed with strategic insurance customers to design and build high-impact applications and AI-powered workflows with Shift’s Multi-Agent solutions, from initial concept through production deployment • Map insurance company claims workflows, define impact metrics and guardrails, and assess data, APIs, and systems for integration readiness • Build and configure multi-agent workflows for carrier-specific processes and integrate them with core claims systems, data sources, and document repositories • Run pilots on live claims, train adjusters and operations staff to work alongside agents, and move deployments into production • Monitor agent accuracy and production performance; tune prompts, tools, and guardrails based on real outcomes • Feed learnings back into the platform to accelerate subsequent carrier deployments • Serve as the insurance carrier’s primary technical point of contact and build long-term customer trust

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data/software engineering or technical deployment, writing production-grade code (C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL or comparable) with a track record of scoping and delivering complex systems in ambiguous, fast-moving environments • Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based and multi-agent systems, prompting, orchestration, memory, and production safeguards like guardrails and human-in-the-loop review • Strong enterprise integration experience: APIs, databases, microservices, and unstructured document processing (OCR/parsing) against complex systems like claims or subrogation platforms (Guidewire, Arb. Forum) • Proven ability to work embedded with a customer's IT and business teams, holding technical conversations, adapting in the room, and communicating tradeoffs clearly • Comfort with startup ambiguity and travel (~50%) to carrier sites for discovery, deployment, and go-live
