• Generate SIG SAUER product sales to law-enforcement agencies through meetings, tabletop demonstrations, and live-fire demonstrations • Convey knowledge of SIG SAUER products to customers • Coordinate with SIG law-enforcement distributors to grow regional sales • Travel approximately 70% • Maintain and promote a professional image of yourself and SIG SAUER • Maintain firearms proficiency and required certifications • Maintain and service inventory of current production models • Share knowledge and experiences with staff members • Represent SIG SAUER at selected trade shows • Support SLEDS by communicating new products, supporting regional stock, promoting and selling IOPs and agency purchases, and identifying potential distributors • Promote and sell the SIG Academy • Provide customer quotes and superior customer service • Monitor regional trade shows, opportunities, issues, and other activity affecting SIG SAUER • Perform weapon maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and office duties as needed • Manage business accounts and expenses • Submit expenses according to policy or supervisor direction • Coordinate with the LE Outbound Sales Customer Service Specialist and Sales Operations • Notify the supervisor of notable regional occurrences and product-line issues • Provide product feedback and identify issues based on personal and agency experience • Document regional activity, events, customer-service activities, quotes, contacts, and equipment information in Salesforce • Visit Tier 1 competitor agencies twice annually and SIG Tier 1 agencies four times annually • Conduct an average of 12 visits per week/600 per year • Meet or exceed sales goals
• Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience; waived if prior sales experience to law enforcement or government agencies • Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent • Experience with sales and customer service a plus • Strong understanding of firearms, optics, ammunition, and law-enforcement accessories • Understanding of the police procurement process • Current and valid Conceal Carry Permit and/or HR218 compliant, or eligible to obtain either within 6 months of hire • Annual physical proof of state-required firearms proficiency records and/or SIG Academy certification • Fitness commensurate with physical job demands, including lifting, carrying, bending, squatting, prone positioning, driving, and prolonged standing • Ability to carry firearms and cases weighing approximately 50 pounds • Current armorers’ certification for various product lines • Up-to-date knowledge of the complete SIG SAUER law-enforcement product line and competitors’ products • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver on time • Ability to handle complex agreements, contracts, or projects • Strong interpersonal, troubleshooting, communication, planning, and team-building skills • Strong Microsoft Office expertise, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to work independently with little guidance • Must live in the region: WI, IA, MN, SD, or ND • Must wear required PPE where required and comply with EH&S training and SIG SAUER security mandates
