📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain a secure and scalable cloud-based integration layer • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and EC2 • Build and manage cloud-native data solutions using Amazon RDS • Develop event-driven architectures using Amazon S3, SQS, and SNS • Implement security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, VPC configuration, encryption, logging, and audit controls • Ensure compliance with ATO requirements • Collaborate with internal teams and external system owners to define integration patterns, API contracts, and deployment strategies • Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform • Monitor system performance and optimize cost, scalability, and availability • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards • Enable real-time and event-driven data exchange across enterprise systems

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of software development experience, with strong focus on AWS • Public Trust clearance required • Hands-on experience with Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and Amazon EC2 • Experience with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) • Experience with Amazon S3, SQS, and SNS • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and integration patterns • Experience implementing secure, compliant systems • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code • Strong understanding of networking, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch • Knowledge of IAM roles and policies, data encryption, logging, and audit controls • Understanding of ATO requirements • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external system owners • Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship • Ability to align with enterprise architecture and governance standards
