📋 Description

• Own the pod’s delivery outcome end to end, including decomposition, sequencing, dependency awareness, and release • Write production .NET services, APIs, data access, and mature-codebase components every week • Integrate SimpliAI capabilities into product features, including agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, structured extraction, tool calling, and model-backed behaviors • Wire evaluations and traces into AI integrations from the start • Serve as reviewer of record for pod code, including agent-produced code • Run a written Plan-and-Review cadence with explicit assumptions and open questions • Supervise use of the Wright agent loop and Conductor delivery system, setting guardrails and escalating failures requiring human judgment • Coach mid-level and junior engineers through their designs • Carry and communicate the pod’s technical debt and tradeoffs • Own production quality, latency, cost, on-call, and postmortems • Escalate designs to Architecture when they outgrow the pod • Drive ambiguous work through production and improve pod members through code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years building and shipping production software • Deep .NET and C# expertise, including ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, async patterns, performance, and profiling • Experience serving as the senior engineer on a pod, squad, or feature team while remaining hands-on • Experience in a large, mature codebase, including refactoring under load, strangler patterns, or extracting services from a monolith • Demonstrated integration of LLM-backed features into a shipping product • Experience with prompt and context engineering, tool calling, structured outputs, and evaluating LLM-backed features • Azure fluency, including AKS, App Service, Service Bus, and SQL • Comfort with CI/CD, GitHub, and Octopus Deploy or similar • Strong code review judgment and ability to explain rejection decisions • Clear written communication; a writing sample is required • Experience in government, healthcare, or another regulated environment is a plus • Must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa • Must satisfy employment authorization verification requirements
