📋 Description

• Consult consumers through the loan application, follow-up, interest rate lock, and loan closing process • Manage an active pipeline of loan applications to maximize monthly loan closings while maintaining margin goals • Interact with consumers to obtain required loan documentation • Work with Processors, Closers, and other team members to exceed production goals and provide excellent customer service • Gather pertinent loan application data and build consumer relationships • Apply mortgage industry knowledge to inform consumers and assist with sophisticated loan decisions • Manage relationships with current and past consumers, Realtors, Customer Experience teams, Corporate Clients, Directors, and other outside parties • Build referral relationships, increase conversion, provide creative solutions, and resolve issues • Maintain knowledge of current mortgage programs, products, and guidelines • Complete ongoing continuing education to maintain required state licensing and professional designations

🎯 Requirements

• Direct-to-consumer loan origination experience is a plus • Specialized mortgage lending courses preferred • Two years of mortgage origination or loan operations experience preferred • Customer service-oriented with exceptional sales skills • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, guidelines, and regulations preferred • Must register as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the NMLS • Must meet all requirements of the Federal S.A.F.E. Act and State S.A.F.E. regulations • Fingerprinting and background checks required • Compliance with restricted parties lists and credit checks required • Ability to demonstrate personal financial responsibility • Pre-licensing education and testing required • Ongoing continuing education to maintain required state licensing and professional designations • Preferred state licenses held: Texas, California, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington
