📋 Description

• Own complex software features within the team’s domain using AI-assisted development workflows • Design, build, and maintain server-side logic, infrastructure, client-side logic, and interfaces for custom labs and related applications • Guide AI agents through feature development as primary architect, reviewer, and decision-maker • Generate maintainable and scalable code, project context, reusable skills, agent workflows, prompt frameworks, and automated quality checks using AI tools • Develop and optimize APIs, databases, UIs, design systems, and libraries in C# or JavaScript/TypeScript • Drive comprehensive automated testing and verification before release • Review AI-generated output, challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and validate solutions • Identify and mitigate security, maintainability, correctness, and sustainability risks in AI-assisted development • Create and maintain technical documentation, design decisions, configurations, and other application documentation • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, designers, and product experts in a cross-functional Scrum team • Assist with feature scope and estimation, including cost and timeline estimates • Resolve ambiguity by filling reasonable requirements gaps, identifying open questions, and proposing solutions • Adhere to development patterns, quality practices, and non-functional requirements including performance, usability, reliability, adaptability, security, and legal/operational standards • Participate in the team on-call rotation for emergency support or special events • Review work for quality and error prevention • Support company values through positive interactions with internal and external stakeholders • Participate in strategic business initiatives and special cross-functional projects as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer in an agile product team • 3+ years working with .NET Framework and C# required • TypeScript or JavaScript required • Hands-on experience delegating implementation work to AI agents and reviewing and verifying delegated engineering output • Regular use of modern AI/agent tools, including GitHub Copilot and Claude Code or similar • Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and code review • Experience building scaffolding around AI tools; custom agents, MCP servers, eval harnesses, or team/department enablement strongly preferred • Exceptional judgment in evaluating AI-generated output • Demonstrated experience with MSSQL and Entity Framework • Proficiency collaborating with UX designers to translate designs into working software • Proficiency creating and consuming RESTful APIs • Proficiency in unit testing • Experience with cloud-native applications • Ability to participate in team on-call rotation during evenings, weekends, or holidays • Experience with authentication, NextJS, ExpressJS, pipelines, and DevOps practices appreciated but not strictly required • Ability to work from a private, focused home-office space and attend frequent video and voice calls • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Primary residence must be in one of the eligible states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, MA, ME, MI, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NV, NY, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI • Periodic travel may be required, up to approximately 10%
