📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of the customer contract negotiation process • Review, draft, and negotiate legal terms in content license, services, vendor, confidentiality, and other agreements, including RFP responses • Attend calls with internal teams and customers to review agreements • Resolve questions concerning contract structure, contract-term interpretation, compliance, and policies • Manage relationships among sales, internal subject matter experts, and contract administration to ensure revenue-recognition and company-policy compliance • Participate in special projects and develop subject-matter expertise within the Legal Department

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience negotiating complex legal documents • Bachelor’s degree • Solid understanding of legal terms and contract formulation principles • Familiarity with intellectual property licensing, indemnity, termination, warranties, and other remedy provisions • Experience working directly with third parties in cooperative and potentially adversarial scenarios • Highly refined computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and ability to work in various databases • Strong attention to detail and organization • Ability to make independent decisions • Ability to influence, communicate enthusiastically, and collaborate across teams • Customer-service mindset, adaptability, and willingness to embrace change • Knowledge and experience with privacy law preferred • Licensed attorney preferred • Software or SaaS industry experience preferred • Proficiency with Salesforce and/or Ironclad preferred • Experience working with sales and/or procurement teams preferred
