📋 Description

• Design and lead projects exploring and scaling concepts related to assigned domain areas with clear business impact • Evaluate technology, business model innovation, prototypes, and proof-of-concept concepts • Monitor assigned domain areas and assess their potential, maturity, and business impact • Build domain expertise across emerging technologies, business models, markets, and consumer trends • Conduct concept testing, user research, and related experimentation • Evaluate and compare products using custom scorecards • Identify problems and opportunities, develop hypotheses, and select testing methods to validate assumptions • Develop and pitch new project ideas and opportunities • Present project findings clearly to all levels of the enterprise, in writing and verbally • Maintain cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners • Demystify complex, specialized topics for non-technical audiences

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; equivalent experience accepted • Master’s degree preferred • Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant topics including Innovation, Emerging Technology, Research & Development, Product Design, or another relevant domain • Industry experience in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and technology preferred • Deep expertise in a relevant subject-matter domain and broad understanding of adjacent spaces • Experience moving projects forward despite uncertainty and recognizing when a pivot is required • Creative problem-solving skills • Experience working in creative cultures in consulting or large corporate environments • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including writing research briefs and PowerPoint presentations • Ability to discuss technical concepts with non-technical people and explain their business relevance • Ability to develop and share project pitches • Skilled at providing and receiving thoughtful, constructive feedback • For remote or hybrid roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings • Must comply with information security and privacy policies when accessing sensitive personal information • Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
