📋 Description

• Design and develop digital network solutions for customer projects across all market verticals • Serve as the primary technical contact for digital products and solutions in bids, tenders, and pursuits • Provide material and documentation support for tender submissions • Research and recommend suitable customer solutions • Provide technical advice and guidance on digital network solutions • Generate high-level network, concept, and solution drawings • Generate high-level scope statements and implementation plans • Document VM requirements based on site and solution requirements • Document hardware requirements and part numbers for cost estimation • Support sales through training, bid/tender support, customer presentations, and solution development • Translate requirements into solution architectures • Support programs teams with scope, implementation documentation, technical discussions, customer engagement, and third-party providers • Define prerequisites for solution deployment • Facilitate and support matrix routing configuration • Support SPOE tickets and cybersecurity discussions and documentation • Support program/project design, planning, and governance • Interface with R&D to resolve quality issues • Peer review network drawings, architectures, and project plans • Monitor and analyze deployed digital solutions for performance, relevance, and suitability • Develop and maintain solutions from a product perspective • Maintain customer and stakeholder relationships • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and industry standards • Provide market and regulatory requirements feedback to product management • Conduct market research on potential markets, customers, competitive products, and market risks • Develop relationships with third-party suppliers and system integrators • Research and evaluate new technologies and products • Comply with and ensure compliance with company HSE policies • Develop and maintain standardized network documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • Deep knowledge of Smiths Detection’s products and capabilities • Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Significant experience and in-depth knowledge in solution design • Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, and HTTP network protocols • Experience leading or actively participating in cross-functional projects • Project management experience preferred • Broad experience and understanding of detection technologies and their application • Expertise and experience in IT environments and network solutions • Experience working with sales organizations and/or sales experience • Experience dealing directly with customers • Knowledge of security operations and relevant regulations • Knowledge of MS Office, Access, AutoCAD, and Visio preferred • Working knowledge of SAP • Project management skills • Leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
