📋 Description

• Achieve quarterly and annual pipeline generation and revenue targets for allocated accounts and/or territory • Develop sales strategies for allocated territories using target account lists • Execute tailored sales plays for Data Engineering market opportunities • Help customers optimize their use of Snowflake’s platform • Understand customers’ Data Engineering needs and communicate insights to inform Snowflake’s product roadmap • Provide executive-level insights on Snowflake’s Data Engineering and Data Lakehouse capabilities to customers and partners • Guide strategic discussions emphasizing the value of Snowflake’s Data Engineering capabilities • Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Leadership, and Field CTOs • Drive customer engagements from discovery and qualification through solution implementation and deployment • Track, analyze, and report Data Engineering sales performance metrics • Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Data Engineering sales efforts with Snowflake’s go-to-market plans • Drive regional forecasting and exceed consumption revenue targets

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience • At least 6 years of sales experience exceeding sales objectives while selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in highly competitive markets • Familiarity with solution-based selling • Experience managing complex sales processes • Excellent presentation and listening skills • Organization and contact management capabilities • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships • Strong presentation and communication skills with senior executives and key decision-makers at technical and business levels • In-depth knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Lakehouse, Ingestion, and Transformation technologies • Proven expertise driving successful sales initiatives in these domains • Ability to work across Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, and Product teams • Experience operating in an overlay sales role and/or driving product consumption through workloads and use cases • Technical background with an understanding of the data space and market • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
