📋 Description

• Define and lead the multi-year product strategy for Sophia Learning’s online learning platform • Establish and defend product priorities through evidence-based analysis and structured trade-offs • Guide the organization’s AI product vision and roadmap • Lead initiatives embedding machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI into Workforce Edge applications • Advise executive leadership by translating technical opportunities into business value • Conduct customer conversations, user research, market analysis, and behavioral-data analysis • Own prioritized initiatives end-to-end, including post-launch measurement of impact • Own product strategy for the AI pipeline from data ingestion and model training through inference and feedback loops • Oversee scalable, governed data-ingestion pipelines, schemas, lineage, and security models • Partner with Engineering, Data/Analytics, and AI teams on semantic data layers and metadata governance • Mentor and coach Product Managers • Represent Sophia Learning as an industry thought leader in AI for online learning, ethical AI, and data-driven learning experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Business/Economics, Design, Cognitive Science, Learning Science, or a related field • 6+ years of product management experience in SaaS, data platform, or AI-driven product environments • Deep expertise in product management, AI-driven product strategy, and large-scale platform systems • Demonstrated product judgment and high-stakes prioritization experience • Ability to synthesize qualitative research, market signals, and quantitative data • Proven ability to bridge technical depth and executive influence • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional AI initiatives spanning data engineering, product, and data science • Experience defining AI governance frameworks and ensuring responsible, compliant use of data and models • Experience productizing machine learning, NLP, and generative AI in multi-persona SaaS environments • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills • Experience with cloud data ecosystems such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and modern data and AI tooling • Experience setting product direction, owning product vision and multi-year roadmaps, and securing executive alignment • Demonstrated success deepening value for established user bases and introducing growth-oriented capabilities • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available • Must be able to travel occasionally when business needs arise • Must be able to meet critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication requirements • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Able to access information using a computer
