📋 Description

• Own the roadmap and vision for Vendor Spend • Define success metrics covering adoption, cost reduction, fraud reduction, and revenue signals • Expand and streamline vendor payments through ACH, checks, direct-to-bank processing, card payments, and international payments • Lead the 0→1 expense-management initiative involving company-issued spend/purchasing cards and virtual AP cards • Define card issuance, controls, and accounting flows for card spend • Advocate for payment accuracy, compliance, fraud protection, positive pay, check-fraud prevention, ACH screening, AML controls, and 1099 reporting • Partner with the banking infrastructure team on payment rails and service boundaries • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate ledger entries and reconciliation • Triage and prioritize demands from Product, Client Operations, Sales, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Support • Use AI tools daily for discovery, analysis, writing, code comprehension, and prototyping • Partner with an engineering team and designer across the AP & Payments group

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS, fintech, or similarly complex technical environment • Track record of measurable outcomes, including adoption, market or segment access, cost or fraud reduction, or revenue impact • Domain proximity to money movement; accounts payable, vendor/B2B payments, card issuance, or accounting experience strongly preferred • Technical orientation with systems, data models, integrations, fund flows, and failure modes • Active, daily use of AI tools, including LLMs, AI-assisted coding tools, and AI workflows • Experience owning products with high cross-functional surface area • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Comfort with ambiguity and technically complex domains • Excellent written and verbal communication • Data self-sufficiency using tools such as SQL, Pendo, Omni, or Snowflake • Growth mindset and empathy for customers and operators • Hands-on experience with AP/vendor payments, B2B money movement, or card issuance is an extra point • Experience with payment rails such as ACH/NACHA, checks, positive pay, direct-to-bank, and processor integrations such as Stripe is an extra point • Experience standing up a new payments or card capability is an extra point • Experience with fraud/AML controls, transaction screening, or 1099 tax reporting is an extra point • Scale-up experience at a high-growth SaaS company is an extra point • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States • Must provide or obtain a work permit if sponsorship is required
