• Lead the business analysis function for the Portfolio Management team and establish standards, methodologies, governance, templates, and best practices • Partner with business and technology leaders to identify needs, process gaps, and operational challenges • Lead discovery workshops, process mapping sessions, and requirements discussions • Drive process improvement and workflow redesign using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies • Lead business analysis for complex cross-functional initiatives across processes, systems, data flows, and technology capabilities • Partner with architects, developers, product managers, data teams, and technology leaders to translate requirements into scalable solutions • Facilitate requirements and solution workshops and produce business analysis artifacts • Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritization, validation, and traceability throughout project lifecycles • Analyze operational and business data to identify trends, quantify opportunities, validate business cases, and measure solution effectiveness • Provide project leadership for business analysis and process improvement initiatives, managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and communications • Serve as liaison between senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams • Develop business cases, process maps, requirements documentation, user stories, testing strategies, and change management plans • Define acceptance criteria, coordinate UAT, validate delivered solutions, and ensure expected outcomes • Evaluate automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and emerging technologies for process improvement • Lead organizational change management activities and transition readiness • Support portfolio intake, strategic planning, prioritization, budgeting, workforce planning, and resource forecasting • Monitor standards and continuously improve methodologies, templates, and practices • Build, mentor, and ultimately lead a growing team of business analysts
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field required • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred • 10+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, process improvement, solution design, or consulting • Experience preferably in healthcare or another complex, matrixed organization • Experience with enterprise applications, systems integrations, data flows, process redesign, portfolio or project delivery, SDLC, and agile ways of working preferred • Experience leading business analysis efforts for large, cross-functional business and technology initiatives from discovery through implementation and operational adoption • Expertise in business process analysis, process improvement, and workflow redesign using Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable methodologies • Experience eliciting, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements • Experience partnering with technical teams on technology-enabled solutions • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret operational data and develop business cases • Understanding of project and portfolio management principles and the full solution delivery lifecycle • Experience facilitating executive workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional solution discussions • Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading business analysts • Understanding of healthcare operations preferred • Exceptional written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills • Strong command of business analysis methodologies, process improvement techniques, and process mapping tools • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio or comparable process mapping tools • Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, or business intelligence tools is a plus • PMP, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, PMI-PBA, or similar professional certification preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
