📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of contract administration and proposal development across aerospace and defense programs • Provide strategic oversight, process governance, and leadership for contract compliance • Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, terms and conditions, letter subcontracts, UCAs, teaming agreements, IP agreements, and formal proposal responses • Lead pre-award and post-award contracting activities for U.S. government contracts • Act as primary contract authority for assigned programs and provide contracting guidance to program leadership, finance, procurement, and legal • Support capture and proposal efforts, including compliance matrices, cost estimating and pricing inputs, contract strategy, risk assessment, and terms evaluation • Lead responses to contract inquiries, audits, investigations, disputes, and claims • Advise staff on contract obligations, change control, and compliance • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers • Improve contracting processes, templates, and playbooks • Align contract and proposal requirements across engineering, finance, quality, legal, and program management • Ensure contracts and proposals are entered into databases and securely maintained • Report to the Senior Manager, Contracts for Molex’s Aerospace & Defense Solutions division

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • 5+ years of experience in U.S. Government contracting (FAR/DFARS) • Experience negotiating terms, developing complex proposals, and drafting contracts supporting US Government contracts • Ability to understand technical product aspects and their relevance to contract requirements • Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, or eligibility to receive export authorization under ITAR and/or EAR • Preferred: advanced degree or certifications such as CFCM, CPCM, CCCM, or CCMA • Preferred: aerospace and defense industry experience • Preferred: familiarity with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and export compliance frameworks • Preferred: experience with TINA proposals, termination settlement proposals, subcontract management, Commercial Item Determination packages, and Small Business Subcontracting Plans
