📋 Description

• Own all tasks and challenges in the assigned Business Lending Credit Officer position • Manage the Company’s credit approval and review activities for centralized business-loan approval • Ensure loan decisions follow policy guidelines and collateral documentation is adequate • Maintain ongoing administration and review of the commercial loan portfolio’s quality and profitability • Assess credit risk and approve or decline loan requests within delegated authority • Recommend credit requests exceeding delegated authority • Direct examination of loan documentation for adequacy and completeness • Assist team members when volume exceeds capacity to meet service-level agreements • Advise credit and line personnel on lending policy, trends, and recommended policy changes • Complete special projects as assigned • Ensure compliance with Bank, State, Federal, and regulatory policies • Safeguard confidential information according to Bank policies

🎯 Requirements

• BS or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field • Five or more years of banking experience in commercial credit analysis, commercial loan review, or commercial lending • Good interpersonal skills • Good computer skills, including Word and Excel • Excellent communication skills • Ability to communicate and negotiate with all levels • Must maintain a secure, distraction-free home office environment • Must have a reliable private internet connection not supplied by cellular data • Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods • Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports • Required annual compliance training and New Employee Orientation
