📋 Description

• Develop and implement a data science strategy aligned with project goals and objectives • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data for HR processes, including recruitment, retention, training, and performance management • Lead exploration and analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, insights, data quality issues, gaps, and enhancements • Design, develop, and validate predictive models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques • Deploy and maintain machine learning models in production, ensuring scalability and reliability • Create data visualizations using tools such as Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists • Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and business analysts to integrate data science solutions • Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure data quality and accuracy • Ensure data science activities comply with relevant DoD regulations and security policies • Research advances in data science and machine learning and explore technologies and techniques to improve HR processes • Create and maintain detailed documentation of data science processes, models, and results

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience; 10+ years in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance • United States citizenship required for security-clearance eligibility • Active CompTIA Security+ certification • Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques • Strong expertise in the Azure Cloud environment • Experience with Azure, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Machine Learning, Databricks, Logic Apps, and AI Foundry • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and PySpark • Strong proficiency in Python or a similar language and SQL for data preparation, analysis, and modeling • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse for data storage and management • Strong experience with data extraction, cleaning, and transformation (ETL) processes • Experience in data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging • Strong understanding of database technologies and SQL • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Automate, is a plus • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
