📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Java • Create and evolve APIs and services connecting user experiences with scalable internal infrastructure • Apply product requirements to APIs and services • Improve system architecture, performance, and developer experience • Develop and enhance the user-facing layer and frontend SDKs using React/TypeScript • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data specialists across multiple teams • Contribute to technical discussions and shape platform decisions • Build tools enabling artists to express themselves and connect with Spotify fans

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and developing backend applications in Java • Solid understanding of React and TypeScript • Understanding of end-to-end experiences and software architecture across backend, frontend, and APIs • Experience with infrastructure-related technologies is a plus • Care about agile software development and a culture of constant learning and improvement • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate ideas • Experience and passion for mentoring and encouraging collaborative teams • Ability to work within the ET time zone with a work location
