📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering episode and podcast management workflows • Contribute to user-facing surfaces and frontend experiences using React and TypeScript • Create and evolve APIs and services connecting user experiences with scalable internal infrastructure • Drive improvements to system performance and developer experience across the stack • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across multiple teams to align requirements and deliver integrated experiences • Contribute to technical discussions, RFCs, and platform decisions • Support engineers and help maintain high standards for code quality and operational practices • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building and operating production backend systems using Java, Ruby on Rails, or similar languages and frameworks • Some experience with React and TypeScript, or eagerness to develop frontend skills • Familiarity with distributed systems concepts, including asynchronous processing, service-to-service APIs, storage design, and observability • Strong user-experience focus for creators • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Growth mindset, curiosity, and willingness to experiment • Interest in agile software development and continuous learning • Familiarity with or interest in podcast ecosystems and creator tooling
