📋 Description

• Perform daily specialized pharmacy technician services across multiple ministries or in a centralized service model • Learn and manage multiple site workflows, travel, matrix relationships, and cross-ministry priorities • Resolve specialized-area issues, ensuring documents and records are accurate and timely • Serve as a resource for regional, system, and external stakeholders • Solve complex multi-ministry problems and escalate and close issues as needed • Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards • Coach team members when practice standards are not upheld • Conduct reviews and audits, report and monitor KPIs, and identify quality improvement opportunities • Create system standardization and lead implementation of operational changes and advancements • Participate in regional or system work teams, committees, and councils • Coordinate team-member education, training, orientation, and competency • Train team members in the specialized area • Prepare and distribute work schedules and provide specialty-area cross-coverage • Liaise with regional or system pharmacy teams and communicate specialty-area changes • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience • Three years’ experience as a pharmacy technician or relevant healthcare field • Illinois: Pharmacy Technician, Registered with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), or future registration within 2 months, with Illinois registration application process complete at time of hire • Missouri: Pharmacy Technician with the Missouri Division of Professional Registration, or Missouri registration application and fingerprint process complete at time of hire, and future registered pharmacy technician status within 6 months • Wisconsin: Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, or Wisconsin registration application number (PAR), and future registered status within 6 months • Ability to coordinate workflows and process improvement across multiple ministries • Ability to comply with legal, regulatory, accreditation, confidentiality, and HIPAA standards • Frequent keyboard use/data entry • Ability to perform stated physical requirements, including lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects up to 50 lbs occasionally • Ability to work day shift, 40 scheduled hours weekly
