📋 Description

• Respond to Call Center phone calls • Register patient demographic and insurance information • Schedule appointments • Transfer calls to the appropriate person or department • Collect data directly from patients and referring provider offices to confirm and create scheduled appointments for patient services • Coordinate scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services • Obtain approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate • Assist with maintaining and updating provider contact information • Enter medical appointments, special instructions, and patient information into the electronic medical system • Follow site-specific protocols and maintain up-to-date documentation for compliance • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience • No experience required • Must reside within two hours of Saint Louis University Hospital • Ability to perform frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 0–25 lbs. • Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for near and far distances and to identify and distinguish colors • Frequent use of hearing and speech for oral communication • Frequent keyboard use/data entry • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and grip • Ability to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 25–50 lbs. • Rare climbing • No required professional license or certification
