• Own and execute complex areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, accruals, estimates, and reconciliations. • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance of all financial statements and supporting schedules, particularly in healthcare revenue reporting. • Review general ledger activity to identify unusual trends, variances, or risks and proactively resolve issues. • Partner with FP&A and finance leadership to align actual results with budgets and forecast reporting. • Perform variance analysis and trend analysis across income statement and balance sheet accounts. • Serve as a finance and accounting resource for leadership by supporting ad hoc reporting and analytical requests. • Support annual financial statement audits and provide supporting schedules, analyses, and audit documentation. • Oversee the development of dashboards, reporting infrastructure, and advanced analytic models to support financial and operational decision-making. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across enterprise financial and operational data sources. • Lead the implementation and utilization of Power BI and related business intelligence tools across the Controller’s Office. • Partner with stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into existing business processes. • Support and evaluate the use of large language models (LLMs) and AI-enabled technologies to improve financial analytics, workflow efficiency, and reporting capabilities. • Drive adoption of AI solutions within the Controller’s Office, including training, governance, change management, and operational integration. • Partner with operational leaders, finance teams, revenue cycle teams, and Technology Digital Solutions (TDS) to improve reporting accuracy and operational insights. • Mentor and support accounting and finance staff by providing guidance on financial reporting, analytics, and systems-related initiatives. • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and customer service. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting. • Six (6) or more years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience, including previous management responsibility. • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and healthcare accounting principles. • Experience developing dashboards, reporting infrastructure, and advanced analytical models. • Proficiency with Power BI and familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools. • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools, automation technologies, and large language models (LLMs). • Ability to partner with stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into operational workflows. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and trend analysis capabilities. • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to leadership and non-finance stakeholders. • Advanced Excel and financial systems experience. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a complex healthcare organization. • CPA - Certified Public Accountant preferred
