• Work closely with the Sales Region VP to lead business planning and execution for the Sales Region • Oversee and ensure accountability for pricing implementation • Provide actionable market analytics • Prepare and lead quarterly business reviews • Plan budgets, manage accruals, and update forecasts • Represent Ste. Michelle Wine Estates to distributors, importers, and consumers • Direct execution of strategic business plans through assigned wholesalers • Manage executive-level relationships with wholesalers, including general managers, channel vice presidents, wine managers, brand managers, chain headquarters managers, purchasing agents, controllers, finance managers, and operations managers • Negotiate effectively and hold wholesalers accountable to monthly commitments • Manage distributor inventory to contractual levels • Evaluate distributor suggested price structures and brand equity investments to ensure the company receives its target share of channel profits
• Bachelor's degree/4 year College degree required • 5+ years of Alcohol Beverage Industry Experience, preferably with distributor management experience • Knowledge of key trade account buyers' buying and promotional practices and operational procedures recommended • Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written • Strong selling, pricing, and analytical, results-oriented skills • Available for company-related travel (10%) • Able to occasionally lift up to 45 lbs • Able to drive a vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license for the current car program • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, and fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies • Must reside in the Central region
