📋 Description

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders via telehealth • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments • Develop individualized treatment plans using a non-paternalistic and destigmatizing approach • Utilize evidence-based modalities including CBT, MI, and DBT • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists on patient care plans • Support patients during crisis intervention situations • Coordinate higher levels of care when necessary • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines • Improve access and care for disadvantaged and marginalized populations • Model compassion and foster trust with patients and communities • Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education • Help shape Steadfast Health’s growth in the Raleigh market

🎯 Requirements

• LPCC, LISW, or IMFT license in Ohio required • Minimum 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders • Minimum 1 year of experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting • Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities • Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible can-do mentality, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development • Passion for low-barrier, non-punitive, harm-reductionist SUD care • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during patient sessions and team meetings • Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling clinical documentation • Ability to quickly respond to emergencies, including assisting patients in distress or crisis situations • Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient needs, read documentation, and communicate effectively • Emotional resilience and de-escalation skills for high-stress situations • Certification in addiction counseling is a plus • Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus
