📋 Description

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions within the Intensive Outpatient Program for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment and discharge plans aligned with IOP requirements and evidence-based practices • Use evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, Peer Recovery Specialists, and other clinic-level team members on patient care plans • Support patients during crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines • Improve access and care for disadvantaged and marginalized populations • Foster trust and strong relationships with patients and communities • Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available recovery resources • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in Ohio • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting • Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities • Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members • Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development • Passion for Steadfast Health’s mission to provide low-barrier, non-punitive, harm-reductionist SUD care • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during patient sessions and team meetings • Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling clinical documentation • Occasional lifting and carrying of materials up to 25 pounds • Ability to quickly respond to emergencies, including assisting patients in distress or crisis situations • Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient needs, read documentation, and communicate effectively • Ability to navigate clinic spaces • Potential exposure to high-stress situations requiring emotional resilience and de-escalation skills
