📋 Description

• Lead and grow a high-performing security team • Set the team’s direction and hire as the function scales • Own and execute Stedi’s security strategy • Write CDK and build security playbooks • Manage multiple AWS Organizations and foundational security tools and services • Oversee compliance engineering and ensure processes and evidence meet SOC, HIPAA, and HITRUST requirements • Manage daily engineering efforts, timelines, and resources • Set performance expectations and review team progress • Assess vulnerabilities and perform regular risk assessments • Prioritize remediation based on business and customer risk • Mentor engineers and promote security as a shared responsibility

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in security or security-adjacent roles • At least 3+ years of experience in a management role • Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC, HIPAA, and/or HITRUST • Experience with control design • Hands-on experience in application security and endpoint security • Exceptional written communication skills • Ability to convey complex technical and risk information to engineers and executives • Experience managing and fostering collaboration in a remote-first environment • Ability to maintain high bandwidth and attend thoughtfully to multiple areas simultaneously • Ability to context switch as priorities shift • Philosophical alignment with the Stedi Standards
