📋 Description

• Own complex projects end-to-end from technical design through launch • Partner closely with product and design teams • Build scalable, efficient, and flexible platforms for customer and internal data • Ensure users receive timely and accurate information • Write design and developer documentation • Evolve architecture to improve operational efficiency and support business growth • Identify and fix issues proactively • Review others’ work and provide constructive feedback • Mentor junior teammates through pairing, code review, and design review • Set technical standards through code and design reviews • Contribute to Stellar’s engineering culture and production code quality • Create and maintain data pipeline architecture covering ingestion, consumption, and export • Identify system and end-to-end process bottlenecks with leaders and stakeholders • Improve SLOs, data quality, and reduce manual work

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of total professional engineering experience • Recent hands-on experience writing production-level back-end code using Python, Java, C++, or Go; Python preferred • Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript and React, Angular, or VueJS • Track record of driving complex medium to large projects end-to-end from technical design through launch • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; AWS preferred • Expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL • Experience writing technical design docs and communicating technical decisions • Track record of mentoring junior engineers through code review, pairing, and design review • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience using AI to assist and accelerate writing code • Data platform experience with Snowflake or Databricks and dbt is a plus
