📋 Description

• Monitor alarms and performance across fixed wireless, fiber, and core networks • Open, update, and close tickets with complete documentation • Troubleshoot and restore service remotely before dispatching Field Operations • Escalate issues to network engineering, Field Operations, and on-call staff • Identify outages and notify the NOC Manager and Customer Experience of customer impact • Provide incident status updates until service is restored • Support planned maintenance with pre- and post-change checks • Verify newly installed and acquired equipment is monitored • Follow NOC runbooks and recommend improvements • Participate in the on-call rotation • Report to the NOC Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in a NOC, Tier 2 support, or network support role, preferably at an ISP, WISP, or carrier • IP networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, ping, and traceroute • Experience with network monitoring and ticketing systems • Clear written and verbal communication • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Must reside in Nevada, California, Oregon, Missouri, or New Mexico; adjacent states may be considered • Must pass pre-employment and random background checks, drug, alcohol, and cannabis testing • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required • Occasional lifting of equipment or materials up to 25 pounds • Preferred: fixed wireless experience with Tarana, Cambium, or Ubiquiti; fiber access experience with Calix; NOC360 or Zabbix; MikroTik or Juniper CLI; CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent
