📋 Description

• Lead and manage teams of database specialists, including talent development and mentoring • Define and implement database architecture strategies aligned with business objectives • Manage performance, availability and disaster recovery of critical production environments • Plan capacity, scalability, and cost optimization of data infrastructure • Maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery policies • Lead data platform modernization projects and migrations to cloud environments • Develop health, performance, and reliability indicators and metrics for data systems • Collaborate with information security teams to implement controls and protect sensitive data • Manage tuning routines, indexing, and query optimization in high-performance environments • Implement automation and monitoring solutions to increase operational efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading database or data infrastructure teams (minimum 2 years) • Deep knowledge of administration and management of relational databases (SQL Server and PostgreSQL) • Experience with distributed data platforms and NoSQL (MongoDB and DynamoDB) • Proficiency in cloud architecture (AWS and Azure) • Experience with replication, sharding, cluster management, and high availability • Knowledge of data protection regulations such as LGPD, PCI-DSS, and BACEN (Central Bank of Brazil) • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Grafana and Datadog) • Ability to work autonomously and in high-complexity environments • Proven ability to communicate assertively, both technically and at the executive level • Passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies • Strong problem-solving skills and root-cause analysis • Previous experience in financial institutions or regulated companies is a plus • Experience with AI and machine learning applied to data performance optimization is a plus • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for databases is a plus • Advanced English is a plus • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus
