📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day billing operations and ensure accurate, timely completion of deliverables • Oversee billing cycles, reconciliations, and month-end activities • Ensure A/R activity supports accurate financial reporting and SOX compliance • Navigate out-of-cycle processing with business partners and the team • Provide leadership and stakeholders with updates on priorities, progress, and risks • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business teams • Promote clear communication within the team • Support high-quality deliverables through reviews and attention to detail • Identify workflow improvements, increase efficiency, and strengthen controls • Establish plans and priorities for timely delivery • Monitor progress and address potential delays • Analyze billing and operational data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities • Lead issue resolution through investigation, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration • Deliver concise reporting that informs business actions and strategic direction • Supervise and support team members through feedback, coaching, and performance discussions • Foster an accountable, collaborative team environment • Build team capability and confidence • Ensure adherence to internal policies, SOX controls, and audit requirements • Identify issues for remediation and prevent repeat remediation issues • Review and enhance internal processes and controls

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Billing, Accounts Receivable, or accounting operations management experience • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and collaborate across teams • Experience leading or mentoring team members • Dependable, thoughtful leadership and ownership of responsibilities • Clear, professional communication • Detail-oriented approach focused on accuracy and follow-through • Proactive, continuous-improvement mindset • Ability to adhere to internal policies, SOX controls, and audit requirements
